The 5th Annual SHE & Wellness Day was a remarkable success, uniting employees, leadership, service providers and stakeholders across all sites in a shared commitment to Safety, Health, Environment and Wellness. Under the theme “Good Health Drives Safer Environments”, the day highlighted the vital link between employee well-being, workplace safety and sustainable business performance - reminding us that healthy employees are better equipped to make safe decisions and to create safer environments for everyone.
In the spirit of Nelson Mandela Day, Enaex Africa partnered with Meals on Wheels Community Services to turn compassion into meaningful action, supporting food security, community wellbeing and resilience in Alexandra.
Safety is more than a value at Enaex Africa - it is the foundation of everything we do. On 15 March 2026, the Secunda Operations proudly reached an exceptional milestone of five consecutive years without a Lost Work Day Case (LWDC), marking an outstanding achievement after 1,843,136 hours worked safely. The previous record in all the years of operating Secunda plant, prior to Enaex’s acquisition, was only three years.
Enaex Africa hosted its Careers Day at the Digital Dome, Wits University, inspiring learners to explore the many career opportunities available within the mining and explosives industry. The event was officially welcomed by People & Sustainability Director, Phumzile Buthelezi, who encouraged learners to embrace every opportunity to learn, grow and invest in their futures.
